Well, it's hot down here. We have been in the upper 80's to low 90's for a week now. Our grass has burned up and gone dormant on us. We now have a brown lawn, as opposed to a green lawn.
Kaitlyn started her Color Guard practices today, so I hope she brought a lot of water with her, because it's going to be hot. We have the big fireworks show tonight in Detroit if it doesn't rain. Livonia had their fireworks show on Sunday night and I had to guard a cemetery because it was in the "blast" zone. I was doing this as part of my CERT program that I did in April. AFter HOT.HOT.HOT here for the last few days too (my grass "crunched" under my feet yesterday), we now have areas that are in a FROST warning for tonight - YIKES - crazy UP weather! :) This is fun with you and Tim & Rochet having blogs! :) I'm a much better "summer" blogger, though! :) More free time! :)
